Highlights:  The St. Thomas men's track and field team won its 20th consecutive MIAC indoor track and field title, which is the third longest current team win streak in any sport in Division III.  The Tommies also tied a conference record for consecutive MIAC team championships in any sport as the St. Olaf men's swimming and diving program won 20 MIAC titles in a row from 1980-1999.

The St. Thomas women's track and field team won its fifth consecutive and 17th overall title in 20 years at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

St. Thomas senior Karolien Bastiaens won the women's pole vault with a meet record mark of 12-0 3/4 (3.68m).  Augsburg sophomore Tonnisha Bell won the 200-meter dash with a meet record of 25.52.  Augsburg senior Mathew Shannon won the 400-meter dash with a meet record time of 48.78.

MIAC champions repeated in seven events at this year's meet.  Junior Carson Glad from St. Thomas defended his title in the 200-meter dash, senior Michael Marschel from Saint John's defended his 800-meter run title, senior Matt Hooley from Carleton defended his title in the 1,500-meter run and senior Will Sallee defended his title in the 55-meter hurdles.  Paul Sovik-Siemens and Sam Hauck from the distance medley relay team from St. Olaf were on both the 2003 and 2004 MIAC champion relay teams.  On the women's side, junior Danielle St. Louis from Hamline defended here title in the high jump and St. Thomas senior Karolien Bastiaens repeated in the pole vault with a meet record performance.

All-Conference and Event Certificates - The top three individuals in each event and the first place relay team will be designated All-Conference and will receive an MIAC All-Conference certificate.  Fourth through sixth place finishers in the open events and second through sixth place finishers in the relays will receive conference event certificates.
