NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton’s Joe Linder scored at the 95:23 mark of the first overtime period to defeat Saint John’s 2-1 on Saturday, Sept. 15 in Northfield.
Freshman Colin Hall (Maple Grove, Minn.) gave the Johnnies a 1-0 lead at the 57:15 mark on a crossing pass from freshman Colin White (Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong).
Carleton’s Jack Boller answered at 70:56 to tie the score at 1-1.
Senior Matt Sundberg (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) made two saves for the Johnnies in the loss.
The Johnnies (2-1-2, 0-1-1 MIAC) will play host to nationally-ranked Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. in Collegeville.
