MIAC Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University junior kicker Zach Barwick (Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge) was named the MIAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week on Monday, Sept. 18.

Barwick drilled his first career field goals, from 33 and 39 yards, and made all four PAT attempts in the Johnnies' 56-7 win Sept. 16 at St. Olaf. 

He is a perfect 23-for-23 in point-after attempts and currently leads the MIAC, among kickers, with 29 points in three games this fall (fourth among all players).

No. 6 SJU (3-0, 1-0 MIAC) travels to Target Field this Saturday, Sept. 23, to face No. 10/11 St. Thomas (2-1, 1-0 MIAC). The 87th meeting between the two programs is set for a 1:10 p.m. kickoff in Minneapolis.
