For the second time in the last three years, SJU led the conference with 63 male Academic All-MIAC honorees in 2015-16, six ahead of second-place St. Thomas (57). The Johnnies finished second in 2014-15, one honoree behind UST, and led the league with 57 in 2013-14.
An accounting and economics double-major with a 3.98 GPA, Farley collected a number of honors this spring. He was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) At-Large Academic All-America second team, Golf Coaches' Association of America (GCAA) All-Central Region and earned GCAA All-America Scholar honors. He shot a combined +12 in the eight rounds this spring and ended the season with four top-10 finishes, including three in the top five. The Academic All-MIAC honor is his second consecutive.
He played a key role in organizing an on-campus, community-service project earlier this spring with Kids Fighting Hunger. About 250 SJU student-athletes packed 45,576 meals for starving people around the globe. -

Fowler also earned GCAA All-America Scholar honors this spring after posting a 77.2 stroke average in 16 rounds during the 2015-16 season. He missed the spring portion of the Johnnies' schedule due to a knee injury and graduated May 8 with a 3.52 GPA in biology (pre-medicine emphasis).
Olson tallied a 75.3 scoring average in 21 rounds, including four rounds at or below par, in 2015-16. He averaged a 74.8 in eight rounds this spring and is an economics major with a 3.53 GPA.
SJU finished fifth at the 2015 MIAC Championship and for just the third time in the last 17 seasons, did not receive a bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The Johnnies ended the season ranked No. 23 in the final Bushnell Golfweek Division III poll of the regular season released May 6.
