ResultsPELLA, Iowa – No. 33 Saint John's cross country finished seventh out of 29 teams at the NCAA Central Regional on Saturday, Nov. 14, on the campus of Central College in Pella, Iowa.
No. 4 St. Olaf won the regional with 62 points, followed by the host No. 20 Dutch (127), No. 19 Loras of Iowa (127) and Wartburg of Iowa (171). Each school registered seven runners, of which the top five scored for the team total.
Senior
Thomas Feichtinger (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) earned All-Region honors (top 35) and his second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Championship with an eighth-place finish (25:42) out of 198 runners to lead SJU (230 points). The national meet is scheduled for noon next Saturday, Nov. 21, at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis.

Ryan Bugler (Okinawa, Japan/Kubasaki) earned All-Region distinction with a 30th-place finish (26:26) and senior
Jake Burr (Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake) followed in 42nd (26:44).
Junior
Maxwell Kuzara (Deephaven, Minn./Minnetonka) crossed the finish line in 67th (27:23) and classmate
Lukas Buehler (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) rounded out the Johnnies' five in 83rd (27:40).
The Johnnies now have 33 top-eight finishes at their last 34 NCAA Central Regionals (going back to 1982), including five titles and 23 top-five finishes.
