Box ScoreMOORHEAD, Minn. – Concordia-Moorhead freshman Jon Grebosky tallied his second goal of the game 2:47 into overtime to give the host Cobbers a 3-2 win over Saint John's on Friday, Jan. 16, in Moorhead.
The Johnnies (7-4-4, 4-2-1 MIAC) had seven minutes of power play in the first period, thanks to a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct for checking from behind 7:51 into the game and another penalty 10 seconds after the major ended, but did not score.
The Cobbers (8-5-3, 3-2-2 MIAC) jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Jordan Christianson (1:36) and Grebosky (10:29) in the second period.

Phil Johnson (Duluth, Minn.) led to a one-timer from senior
John Haeg (Lakeville, Minn.), his 30th career goal, with four seconds left on the power play at the 15:17 mark of the second. Senior defenseman

Saxton Soley (Elk Mound, Wis.) made 26 saves for SJU in the loss, the Johnnies' first against the Cobbers in Moorhead since Jan. 28, 2011 (also 3-2 in overtime).
The Johnnies wrap up the weekend series with a 2 p.m. puck-drop on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Moorhead Sports Center.
