Chase Myhran (Orono, Minn.) claimed second place in the long jump, first among Division III jumpers, with a leap of 6.79 meters. The mark is the second-best jump in the MIAC so far this spring.

Joe Koll (Winona, Minn./Cotter) took second in the triple jump, first among Division III student-athletes, with a distance of 13.02 meters.
Sophomore
Thomas Feichtinger (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) placed second, first among Division III participants, in the 800 meters (1:57.37), while junior
Chris Mergens (Farmington, Minn./Rosemount) and freshman
Ryan Bugler (Okinawa, Japan/Okinawa Christian School International) followed in fourth (2:00.42) and fifth (2:00.88), respectively.
Junior
David Kahat (Lino Lakes, Minn./Mounds View) registered the MIAC's third-best throw in the javelin to take second with a distance of 56.24 meters. The Johnnies' top finish among the throws (discus, hammer, shot) was senior
Brian Vargason (Owatonna, Minn.), who claimed sixth (44.68 meters) in the discus. The toss is good for second in the MIAC so far this season.
Freshman
Alex Charbonneau (New Richmond, Wis.) took fifth in the 1,500 meters (4:12.13), 0:0.22 ahead of sophomore
Jake Burr (Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake).
SJU's 4x400-meter relay team finished second (3:26.18), 0:0.13 behind the Tommies.
The Johnnies return to St. Paul for the 5 p.m. Macalester Twilight on Thursday, April 24, at Macalester Stadium.
