Hansen, Odegaard Repeat Academic All-MIAC Honors

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Saint John’s University seniors Dutch Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) and Luke Odegaard (Forest Lake, Minn.) earned 2009-10 Winter and Spring Academic All-MIAC honors on Thursday, July 8.

A two-time honoree, Hansen earned his second All-MIAC selection and tallied a 6-11 record overall and a 4-5 mark in conference play this spring. He ended his career with a 21-23 singles record (9-11 MIAC) and a 22-28 record (14 MIAC) in doubles competition. He was also named to the 2010 All-MIAC Sportsmanship team. Hansen is a biology major with a 3.79 GPA.

A three-time honoree, Odegaard finished the 2010 season with an 8-8 overall singles record and 4-5 mark in MIAC play. He ended his collegiate career with a 41-30 (22-14 MIAC) career record in singles competition and a 37-29 career record (17-20 MIAC) in doubles. Odegaard is an accounting major with a 3.86 GPA.

The Johnnies finished their season 9-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play.  Head coach Jack Bowe ended his 13th season with a 130-125 career dual record at SJU.
