A 2010 All-MIAC selection, Henkemeyer led the Johnnies in batting (.386), runs (39), hits (56), RBI (27), total bases (79), slugging percentage (.545) and on-base percentage (.438) in 2010. Zimmerman set a school record with 75 innings pitched and five saves (tied school record) while posting an 8-3 record with a 4.56 ERA, 57 strikeouts and a .247 opponent batting average. In conference action, he tallied a 5-0 record with a 3.67 ERA, four saves and a .241 opponent batting average in 41.2 MIAC innings. He was also named to the 2010 All-MIAC baseball team.

Saint John’s tied for second in the MIAC with a 14-6 record and finished 21-18 overall in 2010. The Johnnies went 0-2 at the MIAC Tournament with losses to Concordia Moorhead (4-3) and No. 4 St. Thomas (5-0). Head coach Jerry Haugen ended his 33rd season with a 617-537-5 (.535) career record. He became the 19th active NCAA Division III coach to reach 600 wins and 31st all-time in Division III history against the Rochester Institute of Technology (N.Y.) on March 2, 2010, in Arizona. Since 1978, SJU has never had four returning All-MIAC players (three, three times), which Haugen will welcome back in 2011.
