COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's ended its 2010 tennis season with a 6-3 win over NCAA Division II St. Cloud State on Wednesday, April 28, in Collegeville.

Freshman Fabricio Moncada (Managua, Nicaragua/Lincoln International Academy) ended his freshman campaign with an 8-5 record at No. 1 singles thanks to a 6-1, 6-3 victory Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Ian Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) posted a 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) victory at No. 3 singles and senior Luke Odegaard (Forest Lake, Minn.) ended his SJU career in style with a 6-2, 6-3 win. Hansen and Moncada teamed up for a 9-8 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Odegaard and senior Dutch Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) tallied an 8-6 decision at No. 2.

Sophomore John Burns (Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo) earned the Johnnies' other singles win at No. 6, 6-4 and 6-4.

The Johnnies end the season with a 9-9 overall record and a 3-6 mark in the MIAC.
