Schlichting Named MIAC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Saint John's University sophomore diver
Wes Schlichting (Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice) was named the MIAC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week on Monday, Feb. 1.
Schlichting won both diving events posting a 454.55 in the 1-meter and a 439.90 in the 3-meter during the Johnnies' victorious two-day dual meet with Macalester last Friday and Saturday in St. Paul. In his final competition before the MIAC Championships, Schlichting scored national provisional marks on both boards.
SJU returns to action in three weeks at the 2010 MIAC Championships on Feb. 18-20 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
