10k Classic Results | 15k Freestyle Results

CABLE, Wis. – Saint John's tied for fifth in the 10k classic and finished sixth in the 15k freestyle at the NCAA Qualifier No. 3 at Telemark Lodge this weekend.

Senior Trevor Drake (Eden Prairie, Minn.) led SJU with a 20th-place finish (33:03), followed by sophomores Grant Cook (Duluth, Minn./East) and Bob Gerten (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Thomas Academy) in 23rd (33:10) and 29th (34:02), respectively, in Saturday's 10k classic race.

Junior Jared Sundstrom (Proctor, Minn.) led the Johnnies with a 15th-place finish (42:00) in the 15k freestyle race on Sunday. Gerten claimed 17th (42:11), while Cook finished 21st (42:33).

SJU returns to action in two weeks at the NCAA Qualifier No. 4 held Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13-14, in Marquette, Mich.
