COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Saint John's University senior Ben Vangsness (Alexandria, Minn.) earned MIAC Men's Golf Co-Athlete of the Week honors for the first time of his career Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Vangsness led SJU with a nine-over 151 to tie for second overall at the windy Wis.-Eau Claire Invitational on Sept. 27-28. SJU won the meet with a two-day total of 626 (+58) at the Eau Claire C.C. (par 71, 6680 yards). 

SJU looks to defend its 2008 conference title at the 2009 MIAC Championship this Saturday-Monday, Oct. 3-5, at Bunker Hills G.C. in Coon Rapids.
