Stahlman Leads SJU Blue at St. Olaf Invite

CANNON FALLS, Minn. – Saint John’s University freshman Andy Stahlman (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) tied for second overall with a two-day total of 148 (+4) to lead SJU Blue at the 2009 St. Olaf Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Summit G.C. (par 72) in Cannon Falls.
Stahlman fired a tournament-best one-under par 71 in the final round to finish three strokes behind Bemidji State’s Casey Hill. Bemidji State won the meet with a 604 (+28).
Sophomore Alex Klehr (Mankato, Minn./West) tied for fourth overall with a 149 (+5), while freshman Stephen Gross (New Prague, Minn.) posted a 159 (+15). Junior Will Wahlers (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and sophomore Alex Wallerich (Lake City, Minn.) finished with a 163 (+19) and 167 (+23), respectively.
