MIAC Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University senior Mark Steelman (St. Paul, Minn./Holy Angels) and junior Dutch Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) earned All-MIAC honors in singles competition on Thursday, May 7.

Steelman, who also earned All-MIAC honors in 2007, posted an 8-10 overall record and a 7-9 record (4-5 MIAC) at No. 1 singles. Steelman also recorded a 9-10 record in doubles competition this spring. He was also named to the 2009 All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Hansen collected a 10-10 overall record, including an 8-8 record at No. 2 singles, in 2009. Hansen also tallied an 8-10 record in doubles competition.

SJU ended the season with a 9-9 overall record and a 5-4 record in the MIAC. SJU head coach Jack Bowe ended his 12th season with a 121-116 career dual record at SJU.
