Franta Finishes 37th at Nationals

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John’s University junior Dustin Franta (La Crescent, Minn.) finished 37th with a time of 26:09.0 at the 2009 NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday, Nov. 21. The meet was held at Highland Hills G.C. in Cleveland, Ohio. He missed All-America status by two places (Top 35 overall).
Franta will be joined by fellow junior David Forster (Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins), sophomores Jordan Fladland (Coon Rapids, Minn.), Ruairi Moynihan (Fargo, N.D./South) and Andrew Clasen (Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) next season; all of whom participated at the MIAC Championship and NCAA Central Regional this fall.
Head coach Time Miles completed his 31st season as the head cross country coach at SJU.
