SJU Ranked No. 4 in Final Regular-Season AFCA Poll

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Saint John's University football team was ranked No. 4 in the final American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Top 25 poll of the regular season released Nov. 16.
Nine teams in the West region, including SJU, were ranked in the Top 25: Wis.-Whitewater (No. 2), Central (No. 5), Linfield (No. 6), Monmouth (No. 8), St. Thomas (No. 12), Willamette (No. 20), Coe (No. 21), California Lutheran (No. 22) and St. Norbert (No. 24).
SJU (10-0, 8-0 MIAC) plays host to No. 21 Coe, Iowa (9-1, 7-1 IIAC) in the first round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs this Saturday, Nov. 21. Kickoff is scheduled for noon at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville.
