WEST SALEM, Wis. – Saint John's tied for 15th out of 29 teams at the Wis.-La Crosse Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The University of Wisconsin won the meet with 32 points, followed by Wis.-La Crosse (49) and South Dakota State (92).
Junior Dustin Franta (La Crescent, Minn.) led the Johnnies with a time of 26:01, which was good for 41st overall. Senior Patrick Lowder (Chanhassen, Minn./Chaska) sophomore Ruairi Moynihan (Fargo, N.D./South) followed in 82nd (26:32) and 86th (26:35), respectively.

The Johnnies return to action in two weeks at the 2009 MIAC Championship. The men's race is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Como Park in St. Paul.
