Sexton Arena

Sexton Arena in the Warner Palaestra has been the home of Johnnie basketball since December 1973. A renovation of the Warner Palaestra in 1997 included a new wood floor and the court was named Sexton Arena in honor of William D. Sexton '55, whose gift made the renovation possible.

The 2007-08 season will be the 35th in Sexton Arena and 105th year of Saint John's basketball. The Johnnies hold a 311-97 (.762) all-time record at Sexton Arena, and from 1978 to 1980, won 24 consecutive home games. In fact, Saint John's has never lost to Saint Mary's University in Sexton Arena (33-0).
