10/27/07 - at MIAC Championship, Como Park, St. Paul, MIAC Champions (11 teams) - Results | Championships Website | Seniors Chris Erichsen (Spring Valley, Minn./Kingsland) and Kelly Fermoyle (Mendota Heights, Minn./Henry Sibley) finish first (24:44.15) and second (25:37.20) overall, respectively. Erichsen becomes just the second runner to break the 25-minute 8k barrier on the Como Park Course and shatters the old course record of 24:55 set by Nick Manciu of St. Thomas in 1982. The event has been staged at Como Park for most of the last 25 years and every year but twice since 1989.
